This beginning level continuing education course will include a review of the historical development of Child Centered Play Therapy. Participants will gain an understanding of the selection and categorization of the toys used within the play therapy setting along with the play therapy room setup. The basic skills of tracking, reflecting feelings and reflecting content in play therapy will be discussed, applied and practiced.
